Ms Ang LRSM, DipABRSM, is a pianist, teacher and composer. She began teaching full time in 2013 at the age of 21 in her own studio. She debuted her compositions at the National Hall Celje and Crystal Hall Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia in June 2018.

As a multi-skilled creator, she has also been published in Ceriph #5, a local literature journal, and attended New York Film Academy’s 2016 summer acting course in Florence, Italy. She was educated in Raffles Secondary, Raffles JC, and later on, the University of London International Programs.

She is currently mentored by concert pianist Victor Khor, first Singaporean pianist to attend Moscow Conservatory on a full scholarship. Other past teachers include Spanish pianist Josep Colom, Toh Chee Hung and Noriko Ogawa.

She currently teaches in AMK, Singapore.

Ms Ang’s teaching philosophy involves instilling a sense of curiosity and appreciation of all kinds of music in students, while working towards progressive objectives at the same time.

The teaching studio is equipped with a vintage upright grand Kawai USX7, which features a grand piano touch and a mellow tone. Additionally a Yamaha C3 Conservatory Grand is available for higher level students during specific timings.
